Oakworth completed Seven Hills creating 20 temporary accommodation units and communal building. Oakworth Construction worked in partnership with the Newark and Sherwood delivery team. The Project was delivered on time and on budget with a ‘One team approach’.
Project Highlights
One team approach – Without an open and inclusive team approach this project would not be where it is now. Clarity was provided by Newark and Sherwood’s delivery team, and freedom was given to allow Oakworth and their supply chain to deliver.
Health and Safety – Zero accidents – Oakworth’s focus on safety first works. We had no accidents on site. BSG independent inspectors found the site to be excellent.
Employment opportunities – 10 apprentices have worked on the project in a variety of roles/trades. Bringing young people into the working environment is essential to allow construction to flourish.
Engagement – One open event has been held with all stakeholders invited. All who attended where delighted with the project and progress.
